Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of winboxbets.com, the Winbox mobile app, and all related services (the "Platform"). By registering an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility
To use Winbox you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be legally permitted to use online gaming services in your jurisdiction
- Provide accurate registration and identity-verification information
- Open only one account per person
We reserve the right to verify your eligibility at any time and to suspend or close accounts that do not meet these requirements.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your username, password, and 2FA credentials confidential. All activity under your account is your responsibility. Notify us immediately at our support channels if you suspect unauthorised access.
You agree not to:
- Share your account with any other person
- Use the Platform from a jurisdiction where online gaming is prohibited
- Open accounts using false identity or other people's documents
- Use VPNs, proxies, or location-spoofing tools to access the Platform
We may suspend or close any account that breaches this section, and forfeit balances obtained through breach.
3. KYC and Identity Verification
To comply with anti-money-laundering (AML) regulations and our licensing obligations, you may be required to complete Know Your Customer (KYC) verification before depositing, withdrawing, or playing. This may include submitting government-issued ID, proof of address, and a live selfie or video verification.
Withdrawal requests will not be processed until KYC verification is complete. We may request additional documents at any time for ongoing due diligence.
4. Deposits and Withdrawals
Deposits can be made via supported channels — Maybank, CIMB, Public Bank, Hong Leong, RHB and other listed Malaysian banks, Touch 'n Go eWallet, EzPay, and USDT. Deposits are credited to your Winbox wallet upon confirmation.
Withdrawals are processed to the same payment method used for deposit, where possible, to comply with AML requirements. Standard withdrawal processing is typically completed within minutes, but may take up to 24 hours for larger amounts or additional verification.
Limits. Minimum and maximum deposit and withdrawal amounts are published on the deposit and withdrawal pages. We reserve the right to apply individual account limits based on KYC tier, risk assessment, or licensing requirements.
Currency. All accounts are denominated in MYR for Malaysian players unless explicitly stated otherwise. Currency conversion (e.g. USDT) uses the rate published at the time of transaction.
5. Game Play and Bets
All games are provided by third-party game providers under contract with Winbox. Each provider's games are governed by:
- Winbox's general Terms (this document)
- The specific rules of each game, displayed within the game itself
- Where applicable, the game provider's own terms
Settled bets are final.
Once a game round is complete and the result is recorded, the outcome cannot be reversed except in cases of confirmed system malfunction, fraud, or operator error.
Malfunctions void play.
Any wager affected by hardware, software, or network malfunction is void. Winbox will refund the original stake in such cases.
Bet limits.
Maximum and minimum bets vary by game and provider, displayed within the game.
6. Bonuses, Rebates, and Promotions
Bonuses, cashback (player rebate up to 1.0% per bet), referral commissions, Interest FD products, and promotional offers are subject to:
- Their specific terms and conditions published at time of offer
- These general Terms
- Wagering requirements where applicable
We reserve the right to:
- Modify bonus and promotion terms with reasonable notice
- Cancel or reclaim bonuses obtained through abuse, multi-accounting, fraudulent activity, or breach of these Terms
- Adjust rebate and Interest FD rates with notice (existing subscriptions follow original terms)
Bonus abuse — including coordinated multi-account play, exploiting bugs, or any activity that circumvents the intended use of promotional offers — will result in forfeiture of bonus funds and related winnings, and may result in account closure.
7. Interest FD Specific Terms
Winbox Interest FD is a wallet feature, not a regulated bank deposit product. It is not covered by Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (PIDM). Specific terms include:
- Rates shown in-app are current at time of subscription and lock in for the holding period
- Flexible products allow daily redemption with no penalty; fixed-term products may forfeit accrued interest on early redemption
- Bringing FD products into games puts your principal at risk in the same way cash play does
- Full FD products in-game at midnight (GMT+8) accrue no interest for that day
Full Interest FD rules are published at /interest-fd/ and within the in-app subscription flow.
8. Referral Program (Invite & Earn)
The referral program rewards you for inviting new players who join via your QR code. Specific terms:
- Single-tier only — you earn from players you directly refer, not from their downline
- Referral connections are permanent
- Commission rates vary by game provider (published at /rebate/)
- We reserve the right to disqualify referrals from confirmed self-referrals, multi-accounting, or fraudulent registrations
Referral earnings are credited to your main Winbox wallet daily.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for money laundering, fraud, or any illegal activity
- Engage in collusion, chip-dumping, or any cooperative play designed to disadvantage other players
- Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Platform's systems
- Use automated software, bots, or scripts to play games
- Open multiple accounts to exploit bonuses or rebates
- Impersonate another person or provide false information
- Harass, threaten, or abuse our staff or other players
Breach of this section may result in immediate account closure, forfeiture of balances, and reporting to law enforcement where appropriate.
10. Dormant Accounts
Accounts with no login or transaction activity for 12 consecutive months may be classified as dormant. We will attempt to contact you via your registered email before applying any dormancy charges. After 24 months of continued dormancy, we reserve the right to close the account in line with our licensing obligations. Remaining balances will be handled according to applicable laws.
11. Responsible Gambling
Winbox is committed to /responsible-gaming/">responsible gambling. Tools available include:
- Deposit limits (daily / weekly / monthly)
- Session time limits
- Self-exclusion (temporary or permanent)
- Account closure
If you feel your gambling is becoming a problem, contact our support team or access self-help resources. We reserve the right to close accounts where we identify signs of harmful gambling.
12. Liability and Disclaimers
Winbox provides the Platform on an "as-is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We do not guarantee the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times
- We are not liable for losses arising from network outages, device failures, or third-party service issues
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our maximum liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount in your Winbox wallet at the time of the relevant event
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including the Winbox name, logo, software, game integrations, design, and written content — is owned by Winbox or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notice before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or close accounts for breach of these Terms, regulatory reasons, or operational necessity. Closure does not affect rights or obligations accrued before closure (e.g. completion of pending withdrawals, return of legitimate balances, retention of records per AML rules).
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes that cannot be resolved through our internal complaints process may be referred to:
- The relevant regulator under our Curaçao eGaming licence
- Independent dispute resolution where available
- The Malaysian courts for matters falling within Malaysian jurisdiction
We aim to resolve all complaints within 21 days through our support channels.
